Important notice for JRM authors when submitting an article
JRM is going to be a semi-open access (OA) journal from April 2021
- From the beginning of April 2021, JRM does NOT require the first author to be a member of the Japanese Association of Rural Medicine (JARM) or International Association of Rural Health and Medicine (IARM) when submitting an article. Co-authors have been already exempt from membership since November 2010.
- Instead, when the article is accepted, the first author must become a member of JARM/IARM or pay the article processing charges (APC) 10,000 JPY in Japanese or 100 USD in non-Japanese for publication.
- The authors should be limited to 7 people or less, and each author may be required to specify their contributions in the submitted paper.
